Chocolate Bark Kennel began with Ruger. Our original founder retired in the summer of 2018, and sold the business, along with Ruger, to us. Within two weeks of acquiring Ruger, he bred with Chocolate Bark's Roseblue "Wedgie," and two months later four beautiful puppies were born.
Ruger was born in August 2016, and has successfully sired multiple litters. Ruger carries Biro (choco/white/gold). All of Ruger's puppies will also carry these rare recessive genetics.
Ruger has perfect temperament. He is calm, loyal and abundantly cuddly and affectionate. His coat is bunny-like, and his amber-colored eyes are very expressive. He weighs 5.5 pounds.
Ruger was born in Europe, and has International credentials through the IBC (International Biewer Yorkshire Terrier Club). He is dual registered through the CKC (Continental Kennel Club).
To view Ruger's parents, please visit our "Family Tree." For more photos of Ruger and his puppies, please visit our "Photo Gallery."
Live breeding is $600*. This fee includes two successful breedings. The second breeding is allowed 48-hours after first confirmed breeding. We offer a complimentary breeding upon next cycle if a successful litter is not achieved. One puppy constitutes a "successful" litter.
Your female must be 5.5 pounds or larger, and be in good health and have sound temperament. All females must be vet tested for brucellosis before breeding.
*Artificial Insemination available at an additional cost.
Our darling "Danger" was hand-picked by the former owner/founder of Chocolate Bark Kennel as a prime breeding candidate.
Danger carries chocolate, parti, and possibly blonde and sable genetics. His mother is a sable parti, and his father is our very own "Ruger" who carries Biro (choco/white/tan). His coat is silky and luxurious.
Danger carries dual registration through the IBC (International Biewer Yorkshire terrier Club) and the CKC (Continental Kennel Club).
Please visit our "Family Tree" for photos Danger's parents.
